Promoter Denies All Good Claims
The producer of the All Good Music Festival denies responsibility for injuries that left a 27-year-old man paralyzed from the chest down last July.
Maryland-based Walther Productions has also filed counterclaims in U.S. District Court in Clarksburg against three companies it hired to handle security.
Daniel Weaver of Hudson, N.Y., sued Marvin’s Mountaintop, Event Staffing Inc. of Norfolk, Va., and Maryland-based Walther Productions last month.
Walther argues if there was negligence, it was by the contractors – Event Staffing, New Hampshire-based National Event Services and California-based Tobin Productions.
They hadn’t filed responses by Friday.
Weaver says staff chased him as he ran naked through the campground near Masontown, and employees found him lying in a swampy area.
He says he was carried by his arms and legs, and deliberately dropped.
