Ray Davies hardly needs an introduction. Forming The Kinks in the early 1960s with his younger brother Dave, the band quickly established itself with “You Really Got Me” and “All Day And All Of The Night” and went on to create one of the more impressive catalogs in British rock with such songs as “Lola,” “Sunny Afternoon,” “Dedicated Follower OF Fashion” and “Celluloid Heroes.”

On his latest album, See My Friends, Davies is joined by a who’s who of rock, including Bruce Springsteen, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Metallica, Billy Corgan, Lucinda Williams, Pixies’ Black Francis and Jackson Browne.

Davies’ upcoming July journey is a short one, beginning in British Columbia and wrapping in Southern California. Here are the dates:

July 13 – Vancouver, British Columbia, The Vogue Theatre
July 14 – Seattle, Wash., The Neptune
July 15 – Portland, Ore., Aladdin Theater

July 18 – Saratoga, Calif., The Mountain Winery
