Within The Dome?

Officials in Houston recently examined a new option for the city’s aging Astrodome.

While consultants pitched several options for the 60,000-capacity domed baseball stadium last month including turning the venue into a multipurpose facility and replacing the Reliant Arena next door, a new proposal could see the arena incorporated into the actual dome.

The Astrodome, which formerly hosted top musicians and housed Hurricane Katrina refugees in 2005, hasn’t been used since 2008.
