Winnipeg Folk Fest Announces New Director

Lynne Skromeda has been named executive director of Canada’s Winnipeg Folk Festival.

She will take over managing day-to-day operations Sept. 4.

Skromeda brings 12 years of arts production experience to the job including her position as president of production at the area’s Frantic Films.
