Former Jackson Attorney Disbarred

Attorney Brian Oxman, a TV personality who briefly defended Michael Jackson, has been disbarred by the State Bar of California.

Oxman, who has made appearances as a legal expert on shows like “Nancy Grace,” “Larry King Live” and “Good Morning America,” was disbarred because of complaints filed by clients other than Jackson, according to public filings. His wife, attorney Maureen Patricia Jaroscak, has also been recommended for suspension by the state bar.

The California Supreme Court recently denied Oxman’s appeal.

Oxman defended Jackson during the 2005 child molestation case but left the defense team before Jackson’s acquittal.
