Nickelback Concert Crasher Injured

A New York man was injured July 24 when he allegedly tried to sneak into a Nickelback concert at the 25,000-capacity Saratoga Performing Arts Center.

Officials said Kevin Beaudette, 22, appeared to be intoxicated as he tried to slip into the venue in Saratoga Springs. He reportedly lost his footing and fell about 40 feet into the Geyser Brook Gorge, according to the Times Union.

Firefighters used a basket to rescue the would-be concertgoer after medical staff weren’t able to lift him out.

Beaudette was treated for minor injuries at a nearby hospital and released, the paper said.

No charges have been filed.
