Chugg Revives ‘Long Way To The Top’

Chugg Entertainment announced a 10th-anniversary sequel to its “It’s A Long Way To The Top” Aussie retro tour, a runaway success that shifted 200,000 tickets.

This time, 17 artists play arenas in four cities starting Oct. 5. They include Col Joye and Lucky Starr from the 1950s, Russell Morris and Little Pattie from the 1960s, Marcia Hines, Spectrum, John Paul Young and one-time LRB singer Glenn Shorrock from the 1970s and Noiseworks, Dragon and Mi-Sex from the 1980s.

The original show was based on a TV series of the same name that traced the history of Australian rock music. It enjoyed huge ratings, and a 3-DVD version is the highest-selling Australian music DVD.
