Irving Fein Dies

Irving Fein, 101, who managed the careers of Jack Benny and George Burns, died Aug. 10 of congestive heart failure.

Fein got his start working in publicity for studios including Warner Brothers, Columbia Pictures and MGM before serving as president of Benny’s J&M Productions.

He produced a number of popular television series for Benny, several of Burns’ films and authored books including “Jack Benny: An Intimate Biography.”
