Widespread Panic Going Back To La Playa

Widespread Panic is offering fans another chance to rock out in paradise at the second annual Panic en la Playa. The 2013 destination is the Hard Rock Resort & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

Panic en la Playa Dos is scheduled Jan. 27-31, featuring four full shows from the Athen, Ga., rock band over four nights. The stage is set up right on the sand along with bars.  

Described as the ultimate fan experience, you can expect “all-inclusive amenities at every turn” with all meals and drinks included in the cost. Located approximately 30 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport, the resort features 15 outdoor pools, 11 restaurants, 15 bars, an award-winning spa, full service casino, a Jack Nicklaus signature golf course and more.

Panic En La Playa Dos is presented by Cloud 9 Adventures, which also puts on the destination events Mayan Holidaze and Strings & Sol, along with the Jam Cruise & Holy Ship!! cruise.

To attend the Widespread Panic shows, you must book your stay through Cloud 9 at the Hard Rock Resort & Casino. Caribbean Suites start at $1,299 per person. If you’d like to extend your stay, Cloud 9 Adventures is offering fans a special discounted rate for the nights before and after the event.

Presales for returning guests who attended 2012’s event in Cancun will be held Aug. 22 and Aug. 23. The general on-sale is Aug. 24.
