The contest involves fans marking their hometowns on a special interactive map of the routing posted on the band’s website. Once that little bit of geographical certainty is established, fans can try to persuade other residents of the Twitter-verse to vote for their area. The region with the most votes wins, the fan gets the living room concert, and everyone is happy.
The contest runs until the band launches its U.S. tour in Portland, Ore., at the Wonder Ballroom Sept. 2. Simply put, the winner will provide the house, food and refreshments while The Wombats will provide, well, The Wombats along with the band’s P.A. system.

The band is limiting the house party to 50 people. Rules also state that no alcohol can be served if the winner is under 21.

Supporting their latest release, The Wombats Proudly Present…This Modern Glitch, The Wombats hit the U.S. touring superhighway next month; a journey taking them to mid-October and including stops in Seattle (Sept. 3), Minneapolis (Sept. 18), Salt Lake City (Sept. 29), San Diego (Oct. 1) and Philadelphia (Oct. 16).
