Henry Rollins Tour Keeps Marching
The previously announced Capitalism Tour begins Sept. 6 in Honolulu and stops in every single capital city in all 50 states before wrapping in Washington, D.C., Nov. 5, the night before the presidential election.
Three days later the spoken word artist returns to the road for another edition of The Long March. The trek began in the U.K. in January and has already played more than 115 shows on four continents.
The shows will feature a mix of “timely commentary on the state of the union with timeless anecdotes and perspective gained from his boundless world travels – including recent visits to North Korea, Mongolia, Bhutan, Vietnam, India, Tibet, Sudan, Uganda, Haiti and Cuba.”
Rollins kicks off his fall residency schedule in New York City at Joe’s Pub with gigs Nov. 8-10 and Nov. 12-13, followed by Chicago at Old Town School of Folk Music Nov. 15-17. Next he’ll head to Canada for three nights at Toronto’s Glenn Gould Studio Nov. 19-21.
The routing ends in California with three nights in San Francisco at Yoshi’s SF Nov. 22-23 and Nov. 25 and five nights in Los Angeles at Largo Nov. 27 through Dec. 1.
Tickets for The Long March residency shows go on sale soon.
