KISS’ Mobile Merch
KISS fans with tickets to the last few shows on the band’s 2012 tour in the States will get a chance to test a new way to score sweet concert mementos – minus the lines at the merch table. The band has rolled out a purchasing program called KISS X-Press in conjunction with Live Nation Merchandise and social media platform Ortsbo.

The service allows fans to make purchases via smart phone from the comfort of their seats during a concert, then pick up their goods from a designated desk at the venue.
Ortsbo CEO David Lucatch told the Wall Street Journal banners and signage at the venues will alert fans to the new program.
The band tapped Ortsbo to develop the hub for the KISS Army that aggregates from other social sites and provides fans with a place to shop for merch, chat, share photos and video, text and tweet in the language of their choice through an all-inclusive portal at kissonline.com.
