Announced at a press conference at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville, “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” is framed as a final opportunity to experience Strait’s live show. However, while Strait is saying it will be his last tour outing, it was also announced that he would continue recording and would perform “select dates around the country.”
