Indications that Fernández might be suffering from health problems first came to light last month when the acclaimed “King of Ranchera Music” announced he was about to undergo a medical checkup because of the lump. Since that announcement Fernández has experienced several tests and will undergo surgery in the near future.

Now canceled are dates scheduled for Nov. 9-11 & 29 in Los Angeles as well as shows in Fresno, Calif. (Nov. 16), Stockton, Calif. (Nov. 17), Las Vegas (Nov. 23) and San Jose, Calif. (Nov. 25). Also canceled are shows planned for Guadalajara, Mexico, Dec. 14-15.

Ticketholders should check with the venues regarding refunds.
