Ted Nugent Comments On Election

If you run into gonzo rocker Ted Nugent today, you probably shouldn’t be too surprised if he’s a tad cranky. If his comments on Twitter are any indications, he’s not all that happy about yesterday’s election results.

That Nugent’s not a fan of President Barack Obama is hardly a revelation. Back in August 2007 when Obama and Hillary Clinton were mere senators hoping to snag the Democratic nomination, Nugent held up what appeared to be two assault rifles at one of his concerts and told the audience, “I was in Chicago, I said, ‘Hey Obama, you might want to suck on one of these, you punk.’”

And, as if to make perfectly clear what he thought of Democrats, Nugent said, “Hey Hillary, you might want to ride one of these into the sunset, you worthless bitch.”

Four years later and Nugent was as feisty as ever, appearing at the 2011 National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis where he told a local radio program broadcasting live from the event, “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”

For those choice words, Nugent received a visit from the United States Secret Service, which later announced it “did not anticipate any further action.”

One year later and Nugent is neither dead nor in jail. However, he is on Twitter where he’s been peppering his followers with his observations.

He began his election day tweets with a message aimed towards The Almighty, saying, “Dear God in heaven America vote Mitt Romney Paul Ryan Republican and save America”

He also commented on Obama’s supporters, saying “Vote for Obama & vote for US Constitution hating SCOTUS crazies.”

But The Nuge was simply warming up.

“Pimps whores & welfare brats & their soulless supporters hav a president to destroy America”

“So Obama still demands the hardest workers provide for the nonworkers. Shared opportunities my ass.”

“Goodluk America u just voted for economic & spiritual suicide. Soulless fools”

But Twitter is often a two-way tweet where every comment can provoke a response. And Nugent received plenty of responses, including a few that simply asked if he was mad. Guess some days it’s hard to tell.
