Stones Talk: Wyman, Taylor and ‘Doom And Gloom’

The Rolling Stones release the video to their new song “Gloom And Doom,” included in the band’s greatest hits box set “Grrr!” Meanwhile, reports indicate The Stones will be joined by a couple of past members when the band plays London next week.

Featuring the band in a setting drenched in urban decay, the video shows individual members interspersed with shots of war and destruction.

But we gotta warn you, the video is slightly NSFW due to brief nudity. Thankfully, it’s not Keith.

The Rolling Stones will play The O2 – London next week, taking over the venue Nov. 25 and 29. London’s Guardian sez the the band has confirmed that the concerts will include appearances by former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor and bassist Bill Wyman.

Taylor left the band in 1974 and was replaced by Ron Woods. Although The Stones never named a permanent replacement on bass since Wyman’s 1992 departure, the band has relied on the thumping prowess of Darryl Jones for the past 20 years.
