Turbonegro For By:Larm

The Nordic conference world is revving up with the announcement that local punks Turbonegro will play Norway’s By:Larm in Oslo Feb. 13-16.

The act, which first came together in Oslo during the winter of 1988, is on top of a list of Nordic acts chosen to showcase the region’s talent.

Fellow Norwegians John Olav Nilsen, whose recent show at Oslo’s Sentrum Scene was rated 6/6 by the influential Gaffa magazine, Nils Bech, and Kråkesølv – which is based inside the Arctic Circle – will also be representing local talent.

Sweden is so far sending Taken By Trees, Mariam The Believer, and Bombus, while the Danish acts will include CTM, Tim Christensen and Tako Lako.

Finland, which had its own Music & Media showcase conference in October, has already confirmed Black Twig and French Films.

By:Larm’s daily conference agenda is yet to be made public. Tickets for By:Larm are available online.
