More ‘Sweet’ Spiritualized Dates
Frontman Jason Spaceman put out the album under some unusual circumstances. Following a near death from double pneumonia in 2005, Spaceman once again ran into major health problems after recording Sweet Heart Sweet Light. He mixed the record while being housebound due to six months of chemo treatment for a weakened degenerative liver disease. Sweet Home Sweet Light was released in April 2012.
Spaceman and the band return to the stage in April, beginning with a gig in Denver. Here’s what the schedule looks like.
April 4 – Denver, Colo., Bluebird Theater
April 5 – Salt Lake City, Utah, Urban Lounge
April 6 – Boise, Idaho, Egyptian Theatre
April 8 – Seattle, Wash., The Neptune
April 9 – Portland, Ore., Wonder Ballroom
April 11 – Santa Cruz, Calif., Coconut Grove Ballroom
April 12 – Las Vegas, Nev., House Of Blues
Tickets for select dates go on sale beginning Jan. 12.
