Kid Rock & Bob Seger Announce Co-Headline Shows

The Detroit rockers are joining forces for two special concerts. The U.S. shows are scheduled in the middle of Kid Rock’s “Rebel Soul” Tour and Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band’s “Rock And Roll Never Forgets Tour.”

After talking about touring together for years, the timing is right. The first leg of Seger’s tour is booked Feb. 27 through April 2. Kid Rock has 2013 dates lined up from Feb. 2 through April 6.

The back-to-back co-headline gigs begin March 15 in Saint Paul, Minn., at the Xcel Energy Center. On March 16 Kid Rock and Seger play Fargo, N.D., at the Fargodome.

This isn’t the first time the longtime buddies have worked together. Kid Rock, who had the honor of inducting Seger into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, was featured as Seger’s duet partner on the cover of Vince Gill’s “Real Mean Bottle” from Seger’s 2006 album, Face The Promise. Seger helped out with Kid Rock’s 2010 LP, Born Free, by playing piano on the Seger/Sheryl Crow duet “Collide.” In 2011 the rockers headlined Orlando Calling and joined together for a duet.

And now they’ll share a stage once more. Tickets for both dates go on sale to the public Jan. 26. Fan club members will get first dibs on tickets.
