Eventim Gets Winter Olympics

CTS Eventim has been awarded the contract to sell tickets for the 2014 Winter Olympics, which well be held in Sochi, Russia, next February.

Parter.Ru, Eventim’s Russian operation, will provide the online ticket platform.

The contracts were signed by Eventim chief exec Klaus-Peter Schulenberg and Dmitry Chernyshenko, president and chief exec of the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee.

Schulenberg said he’s delighted that Eventim was chosen as the official ticket supplier and proud that his company will be part of the Olympic movement.

Chernyshenko said Eventim is “one of the world’s leading specialists in ticketing” and praised the way it has handled earlier large sporting events such as the World Cup.
