Bieber Sorry For Late Show

Waiting 90 minutes for their idol to come on stage may not have upset Justin Bieber s young fans, but their parents weren’t happy about the prospect of missing the last train home.

Along with other parents who had driven to collect their kids from London’s O2  Arena March 4, parents bombarded BBC’s Radio 5 and other talk stations in a bid to find out what was happening.

“I asked at the desk what was happening and I was told it was Justin Bieber’s production and the O2 couldn’t do anything about it,” one mother of two told BBC 5.

Bieber eventually hit the stage at around 10:30 p.m., meaning people who needed to catch a train home would likely have to leave before the show finished.

Later the 19-year old superstar told his 35 million or so Twitter followers that he never intended to upset anyone kept waiting.

He also said he’d got up at 12:30 p.m. to “a crazy day,” which rankled parents who rang the next morning’s radio talk shows to explain how the Monday night show was followed by a school day and that they had to get their kids up early.
Bieber also promised that the following night’s O2 show would start on time.
