Jamiroquai For LN’s
Magic Summer Live

Jamiroquai and Bryan Adams will headline the latest addition to Live Nation’s UK festival catalogue, a 25,000-capacity, two-dayer on the Guilfest site in Surrey.

Guilfest organiser Tony Scott is reportedly miffed because he’d wanted to run a second summer fest on the Stoke Park site, but the local Guildford Borough Council appears to have preferred LN.

Scott, whose Guilfest went into administration after last year’s bash was hit by the economy and filthy weather, says he only found out about LN’s involvement when he read about in the local papers.

Guilfest has been going for 21 years but last year’s gathering, which had Olly MursJools HollandAsh and Bryan Ferry, is said to have dropped around £300,000.

Others on the lineup for the new LN fest (July 13-14), which is called Magic Summer Live, include James MorrisonJoss StoneSqueezeLevel 42Soul II SoulThe Overtones, and Kim Wilde.
