The Rolling $tone$

While tickets for The Rolling Stones’ “50 And Counting” tour were expected to be priced higher than most in-demand concerts this year, the cold, harsh reality of $500-plus tickets is beginning to set in.  And that’s before adding service charges.

If you want a little “Satisfaction” this spring, you’re going to have to pay for it. Ticket prices for The Rolling Stones’ May 5 show at Oracle Arena in Oakland, Calif., range from $142.75 to $571.50, according to Ticketmaster, which lists $29 in fees for the low end and $94.35 in fees for the show’s top ticket.

That’s right.  A $571.50 ticket for The Rolling Stones in Oakland comes with almost $100 in fees, making the out-the-door price $665.85.
