You can forget about Biffy Clyro appearing with Muse or catching the band at Coachella this weekend. Health problems have forced the Scottish rock group to cancel its remaining dates in the U.S. and Canada.

Simon Neil is the one who is ailing. A statement released by a band representative says the guitarist/vocalist is “struggling with a serious respiratory problem” and that doctors warned that if the band continued on its current run, Neil would be “endangering his long term health.”
From BiffyClyro.com:
“The band wish to express how sorry they are that they aren’t able to carry out the full run of shows, and hope to confirm a new run of North American shows shortly. All U.K. and European dates this summer should, however, remain unaffected.”
Biffy Clyro’s next scheduled gig is at the Siesta Festival in Hassleholm, Sweden, June 1.
