McCartney Returning To Quebec

Paul McCartney continues to build his “Out There” itinerary one date at a time.  Today Quebec City gets a dose of Macca love with the announcement of a July show with the former Beatle returning to the same venue he played in 2008.

Yes, the fine citizens of Quebec City began dancing in the streets after hearing the news that McCartney will rock out at the Plains Of Abraham.  Well, maybe not dancing in the streets but unconfirmed reports indicate at least one couple may or may not have been Jitterbugging near Place d’Armes.

Not appearing on the list are McCartney’s gigs at Bonnaroo and Outside Lands because those festivals haven’t announced their daily schedules.  Generally speaking, McCartney will play Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn., sometime during the festival’s June 13-16 run. Same goes for San Francisco’s Outside Lands, scheduled for Aug. 9-11.

Folks having festival passes and front-stage zone tickets for the Festival d’été de Quebec may purchase tickets for the July 23 concert via a pre-sale beginning May 4 and running through May 10.  General onsales launch May 11.  Head on over to PaulMcCartney.com for more information.
