Dexter Does Hollywood

With “Dexter” on its final season, star Michael C. Hall is about to dissect the agency business.

Hall is reportedly executive producer of a Showtime project about the rise of a talent agent in the ’70s who builds the biggest agency in Hollywood only to watch it come crashing down again – all the while battling his business partner.

The project is an adaptation of the book “American Dream Machine” by Matthew Specktor, son of CAA’s Fred Specktor.

The show likely focuses on the movie industry; the book is described as telling the story of “two agents and their three troubled boys, heirs to Hollywood royalty.”
