Lionel Richie Takes His Hits On The Road
How many of Richie’s hits can you name off the top of your head? Songs like “Truly,” “Endless Love,” “Stuck On You” and “Dancing On The Ceiling” dominated pop charts during the 1980s and his performance of “All Night Long (All Night)” was one of the highlights of the closing ceremonies for the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. Chances are you can hum every one of his songs for they are indelibly engraved in our personal memory vaults.
“I’m so lucky to have the collection of songs that I can play for my fans, it becomes a giant sing-along most nights,” Richie said. “People always ask me, ‘what are you going to sing tonight, Lionel?’ and I always laugh and reply, ‘What are YOU going to sing tonight?’”
