Dave Matthews Band Heading To South Africa

Dave Matthews Band fans in South Africa are receiving an early Christmas present this year.  DMB will tour the country for the first time ever, playing shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg in the late fall.

New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Fairgrounds Racecourse, New Orleans, La.

Touring with special guest Vusi Mahlasela, the band has targeted Grandwest’s Grand Arena in Cape Town Nov. 30 and the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg Dec. 3.

The Johannesburg gig marks Matthews return to the city of his birth.  Although his family moved to England when he was a toddler, they eventually moved back to Johannesburg during the mid ’70s.
