Bids In For Jobing.com Arena

Four bidders have submitted proposals to manage Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, home to the NHL’s Phoenix Coyotes.

But the group trying to buy the team _ Renaissance Sports & Entertainment _ isn’t one of them.

The city released the names of the bidders to The Arizona Republic.

Glendale staff and consultants are combing through the proposals to select finalists.

The Coyotes have played at the $220 million arena since it opened in December 2003.

The Glendale City Council is expected to vote June 25 on an arena-management contract.

One of the four bidders is Phoenix Arena Development Limited Partnership, a subsidiary of the NBA’s Phoenix Suns that manages US Airways Center.

The other three are Philadelphia-based SMG and two local firms _ the Phoenix Monarch Group and R Entertainment.
