Loretta Lynn’s Gospel Weekend

Saying she hopes the “gospel sing” will become a yearly event, Lynn will host the two-day affair at her ranch located near Hurricane Mills, Tenn., about 60 miles west of Nashville.

While the event is scheduled for Sept. 28-29, folks arriving Sept. 27 will be treated to a jam session and a bonfire.  With Lynn scheduled to take the stage Sept. 28, The Sneed Family, Mark Lowery, Rambo McGuire and Karen Peck and New River perform on both days.

Here’s the plan:

Sept. 28 (noon to 10 p.m.): Mark Lowry, The Hoppers, Archie Watkins & Smoky Mountain Reunion, The Freemans, The Sneed Family, Karen Peck & New River, Rambo McGuire, Michael Combs, Brian Free and Assurance, The Singing Cookes, Loretta Lynn

Sept. 29 (noon to 4 p.m. following the 10 a.m. morning worship): The Isaacs, Mark Lowry, The Sneed Family, Karen Peck & New River, Rambo McGuire, Gold City
