The charge stems from Harrell’s July 19, 2012, arrest in D’Iberville for allegedly being under the influence of prescription pills when his car rear-ended a pickup truck.
Harrell also faces a charge of felony vehicular manslaughter stemming from a mid-April alleged DUI arrest after his car clipped a truck on Interstate 40 in Nashville, killing the pickup driver. A judge found probable cause to send the felony case to a grand jury during a July 30 preliminary hearing.
