Café Tacvba Opens For Business

The rock band from Ciudad Satélite, Mexico, returns to the road in support of what has been acclaimed “the best Latin album of the year.”  Café Tacvba begins the journey in San Francisco at the end of this month.

The album receiving accolades is the band’s 2012 release, El Objeto Antes Llamado DiscoRolling Stone called the band the “Mexican equivalent of the Beatles or Radiohead;” Associated Press described the album as “ambitious, groundbreaking and quite simply, superb;” and NPR noted that the effort “engages in earnest introspection about life, aging, loss and living in a country ridden by violence.”

Embarking on its first headlining tour since the release of El Objeto Antes Llamada Disco, stops for Café Tacvba include San Diego, Austin, Houston, Milwaukee and New York City. Here’s the routing:
