Three For MBV
My Bloody Valentine obviously loves Japan.
The once-reclusive group will be making its third trip to Japan this year as the headliner of Dommune Live, a Tokyo-based electronic music event that takes place irregularly in the capital.
The Dommune website has announced that Kevin Shields and company will premiere all-new songs at the concert, which takes place at the Tokyo International Forum Sept. 30.
Only one other group is on the bill, the like-minded Japanese band Sotaisei Riron.
MBV played several sold-out shows in Tokyo last February as well as the Fuji Rock Festival at the end of July.
