Pinnacle Arena Ready To Open

The University of Nebraska’s Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln is ready to open ahead of schedule.

The firm handling the project, Mortenson Construction, reportedly finished the $179 million, 15,500-capacity arena more than one month early and removed fences around the venue.

Finishing touches on the building, which features a steep seating configuration, 36 suites lining the bowl and 20 additional mini-suites, continue on concession stands and artwork.

An open house is set for Aug. 29-31.

Upcoming shows include Michael Bublé, Jason Aldean, Eagles, Miranda Lambert & Dierks Bentley and Pink.
