Brian Wilson/Jeff Beck Fatten Their Calendar
Houston, Milwaukee and Montclair, N.J., are the latest cities added to the Brian Wilson/Jeff Beck tour. Traveling with Wilson’s former Beach Boys bandmate and co-founder Al Jardine and original member David Marks, the journey begins in late September.

If there’s one thing we can say about Brian Wilson touring with Jeff Beck it’s that you won’t see anything like this, probably ever. After all, if someone had told you only a few months ago that the man behind the Beach Boys sound would be touring with one of the greatest axemen in rock, would you believe them?
The plan calls for Wilson, Beck, Jardine and Marks to open each show together, followed by Wilson taking the spotlight as the evening focuses on eclectic selections from his awesome catalog. The second half is devoted to Beck with the guitar whiz and his four-piece rhythm section performing selections from his career while Wilson, Jardine and Marks add their one-of-a-kind harmonies.
The grand finale will have all four artists appearing onstage once again as they run through their own favorite songs from their youth and serve up a few tasty nuggets from Beck’s days with The Yardbirds.
Back to those tour additions: New destinations added to the upcoming tour are Houston at the Bayou Music Center Oct. 1, Montclair at the Wellmont Theater Oct. 16, and Milwaukee at the Riverside Theatre Oct. 30.
