Kid Rock Rocking 2013 Voodoo

Having already booked more than 90 acts, including Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails and The Cure, who else could possibly add to its lineup? Turns out that the festival was missing that rebellious southern rocker known as Kid Rock.

Kid previously took the stage at Voodoo in 2004. The festival will once again be held over Halloween weekend at New Orleans City Park, Nov. 1-3.

“Over the last 14 years of Voodoo, we’ve seen some 2000 artists from nearly every musical genre perform in what some have called a musical gumbo,” said Voodoo founder/producer Stephen Rehage. “It seems fitting that an artist as diverse and talented as Kid Rock is returning to Voodoo for the 15th ritual.”

In addition to Kid Rock, Pearl Jam, NIN and The Cure, the 2013 roster features Calvin Harris, Bassnectar, Paramore, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Afrojack, Boys Noize, The Gaslight Anthem, Big Gigantic, How To Destroy Angels, Matt and Kim, Alkaline Trio, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Dirty South, Desaparecidos, Beats Antique and many, many more acts.

You still have a chance to get tickets, or as Voodoo calls them – credentials. Three-day general admission credentials are priced now at $175. Once the supply of “worship” credentials runs out, prices will go up to $200. VIP passes are also available.
