Lily Allen Says She’s Back

Looks like Lily Allen has changed her mind again. After sending out a press release last summer announcing that she’ll be using her married name (and middle name) professionally – Lily Rose Cooper – today she tweeted, “Hello, im Lily Allen … and, I’m coming, back, bitches.”

Allen has abandoned her old Twitter account and revamped her website. The only tweet left on @LilyRoseCooper’s page says, “Now tweeting from @LilyAllen.”

Earlier today she sent out the tweets saying she’s coming back along with two links to her website – LilyAllenMusic.com

Back in August 2012 the British singer’s PR reps said any new music she puts out in the future would be under the name of  “Lily Rose Cooper.” At that time her representatives said she’d booked studio time to work on new songs.

We’re still waiting on the follow-up to 2009’s It’s Not Me, It’s You

NME points out that Allen talked to U.K.’s Metro in May about working on her third album.

“I went to a meeting yesterday,” Allen said. “Went through a load of tracks and it’s shaping up pretty well.”

Allen is featured on Pink’s new single “True Love,” a song written by the two singers along with producer/songwriter Greg Kurstin. Allen makes an appearance in the video released in July.
