Goldberg Scores Big - Pollstar News

David Goldberg, a Ticketmaster veteran and one of the early proponents of paperless ticketing, has joined ticketing company ScoreBig as chief strategy officer.

Goldberg has been advising the ticket liquidator since 2009. Previously, he served as CEO of Youbet.com. ScoreBig recently announced a partnership with United Airlines, which agreed to allow its frequent fliers to redeem their points on ScoreBig.

The company also received $10 million in funding from Checketts Partners Investment Fund. Goldberg left Ticketmaster in 2008 after helping to develop TicketExchange, its secondary ticketing platform.
