Carole King: MusiCares’ 2014 Person of the Year

Carole King will be feted as the 2014 MusiCares Person of the Year Jan. 24 during Grammy week in Los Angeles.

Dixie Chicks, Lady Gaga, Bette Midler, Jason Mraz, James Taylor and Steven Tyler are expected to perform in King’s honor.

King is recognized for her many philanthropic activities over the years and involvement with environmental organizations and political causes.
