Marshall Holmes Dies
Veteran road warrior Marshall Holmes died on his birthday Sept. 25 shortly after finishing the load out for a Luis Miguel show in Bakersfield, Calif.
Holmes, who was turning 55, was driving to Los Angeles when he became ill.
A friend took him to the ER where he apparently had a fatal heart attack.
The highly regarded industry veteran had spent many years on the road looking after Midnight Oil, The Tubes, and Miguel among many others.
Long time friends Steve Macfadyen and Steve “Chopper” Borges are working on a memorial service that could take place in San Francisco.
