The musical brothers, who were tweeting about the tour as late as Tuesday, were reported to have canceled the trek due to a “deep rift within the band,” reports People, citing publicist Jesse Derris. The magazine reports that during the weekend the brothers argued about the group’s musical direction.
Associated Press is also reporting that the boys have flushed their tour.
When Pollstar contacted Derris, the publicist confirmed the bad news.
So far, only one venue slated to host the brothers is reporting a cancellation. The Pine Belt Arena in Toms River, N.J., has posted on its website that the building’s Oct. 13 date with the Jonas Brothers is no more and that further information is not available.
