Lady Antebellum Pushes Back Tour

Fans holding tickets to shows on the first leg of Lady Antebellum’s upcoming road trip will have to wait a little longer as the country band reschedules its 2013 shows for next year.  The “Take Me Downtown Tour” will now launch in Illinois in January.

Hear that?  Those are the sounds of Lady A fans quietly sobbing because of the bad news released over the weekend.  The tour was supposed to begin in Southaven, Miss., Nov. 8 before the cold harsh reality of record company release schedules worked its voodoo on the adventure.  According to a posting on the group’s website, the upcoming deluxe version of Golden, the album released earlier this year, has resulted in a slightly different agenda.  The tour includes Kip Moore and Kacey Musgraves.

From LadyAntebellum.com:

“To accommodate the new release and in order to give you guys the best shows possible, we’ve had to move things around on our tour schedule. The 1st leg of the Take Me Downtown Tour with Kip and Kacey will now kick off on Jan. 10 in Peoria, Ill. We hope these changes aren’t too much trouble for you, and that we’ll get to see you in one of the more than 60 cities the tour will hit next year.”
