Cyndi Lauper Returns ‘Home For The Holidays’

Pink, Josh Groban, Nelly Furtado, Indigo Girls, Ingrid Michaelson, The Hives, Matt And Kim, Hunter Valentine and The Cliks will be among the talent gracing the stage at Cyndi Lauper’s third annual “Home For The Holidays” benefit concert.

Symphony Hall – Woodruff Arts Ctr., Atlanta, Ga.

Presented by Lauper’s “True Colors Fund” and set for Dec. 7 at New York City’s Beacon Theatre, the evening’s lineup will include a touch of Hollywood with an appearance by actress Susan Sarandon.

There will also be some funny stuff, courtesy of Rosie O’Donnell. The event will be hosted by fashion expert Carson Kressley.

As with past “Home Of The Holidays,” the evening is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender homelessness.

“‘Home For The Holidays’ is once again going to be an amazing night of music and comedy in support of a cause close to my heart, homeless gay and transgender youth,” Lauper said. “I’m proud that we have built a show that not only sells out every year, but has become well-known for bringing together a stellar array of artists to help change the world through an evening of incredible performances.”

“This year’s concert will help us continue to move our Forty To None Project’s work forward to help these young people live happy, healthy and productive lives.”
