Nob Hill Dispute Ending?
A dispute over plans to expand San Francisco’s Nob Hill Masonic Center is likely at an end, with the city’s Planning Commission expected to approve an agreement between Live Nation and the venue’s neighbors Nov. 14.
The vote takes place just after press time, but the San Francisco Chronicle reports that all parties say they can live with the plan, the subject of years of battle and compromise.
If it moves through the commission without further objection, Live Nation can apply for building permits to upgrade the stage, sound system and other areas of the 3,165-capacity venue.
