HIM Returns To The U.S.
The new tour won’t be the first time HIM has played the U.S. since Valo was diagnosed with severe asthma with presumptive pneumonia in early May – but it is the band’s first chance to return to the stage as a headliner. In August the band played the U.S. and Canada as part of Monster Energy’s “Rock Allegiance Tour” with Volbeat, All That Remains, and Airbourne.
Supporting its eighth studio album, Tears on Tape, HIM closes out 2013 with a handful of homeland shows in Finland. The band kicks off the new year with several appearances at Australia’s Soundwave Festival.
Here’s the plan for the U.S. tour:
March 7 – West Hollywood, Calif., House Of Blues
March 8 – Anaheim, Calif., House Of Blues
March 9 – San Francisco, Calif., The Fillmore
March 12 – Chicago, Ill., House Of Blues
March 13 – Cleveland, Ohio, House Of Blues
March 14 – New York, N.Y., Irving Plaza Powered By Klipsch
March 15 – Philadelphia, Pa., Theatre Of The Living Arts
March 18 – Atlanta, Ga., Center Stage Theater
March 19 – Lake Buena Vista, Fla., House Of Blues
March 20 – Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Revolution
March 24 – New Orleans, La., House Of Blues
March 25 – Houston, Texas, House Of Blues
A presale is ongoing now. Tickets go on sale to the general public Dec. 13.
