Chuck Berry Plans 200th Duck Room Show

The milestones keep piling up for rock ‘n’ roll pioneer Chuck Berry, including one next month at one of his most popular haunts.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that on Jan. 15, the 87-year-old singer will mark his 200th performance at the Duck Room at the Blueberry Hill venue on the University City Loop. Tickets for the 9 p.m. show are $35 and go on sale Friday morning.

Berry is a St. Louis native considered one of rock’s pioneers. He had hits including “Roll Over Beethoven,” ‘‘Sweet Little Sixteen” and “Johnny B Goode.”
