Concert fans had several top-tier acts to see in 2013, including The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Pink, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Jay Z, and Justin Timberlake. It was a year of big names, big shows and big audiences.

But not all fabulous concerts played out under basketball nets and scoreboards. Perhaps your best show of 2013 took place in a club, a theatre or in a fine arts auditorium. Or maybe the most excellent performance of the year happened at a music festival, on an ocean cruise or even at a county or state fair. When choosing the best of the best, size doesn’t really matter.
