New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival Announces Lineup
Scheduled for April 25-27 and May 1-4 at the Fairgrounds Racecourse, the festival will field a talent-heavy lineup that also includes The String Cheese Incident, Trey Songz, Vampire Weekend, Foster the People, Public Enemy, The Avett Brothers, Charlie Wilson, Alabama Shakes, John Fogerty, Ruben Blades, Trombone Shorty, Chaka Khan, Lyle Lovett, Boz Scaggs, Al Jarreau, Aaron Neville, The Head And The Heart, Allen Toussaint and others. Chances are if you gathered all the artists appearing at Jazz & Heritage the resulting line would stretch all the way to the moon and back. Or pretty darn close.
There will also be plenty of Jazz & Heritage audience favorites, including Kermit Ruffins & The Barbecue Swingers, Jon Batiste and Stay Human, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk, Galactic, and Preservation Hall Jazz Band, to name a few.
Single-day tickets are set at $50 through Jan. 31 when the sticker price bumps up to $55. VIP packages are available. Check out NoJazzFest.com for more information.
