Foals & Cage The Elephant On The Road
Each band put out its third studio album in 2013. Foals released Holy Fire and Cage The Elephants’ latest LP is Melophobia.
The February adventure on Foals’ side of the Atlantic begins with two nights at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre Feb. 4-5. After playing their final U.K. show together Feb. 15 at London’s Alexandra Palace, Cage The Elephant will stick around for another night in the London followed by gigs in Paris; Cologne, Germany; and Berlin.
After that the rockers from Bowling Green, Ken., will make appearances at Lollapalooza Chile & Brazil as well as Coachella. Plus, Cage has its own headline gigs to take care of in the U.S. in April with stops in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, North Carolina and Massachusetts.
Cage will reunite with the English indie rock band when they take the stage for a free show in Raleigh, N.C., May 2.

* The May 6, 13 & 20 shows are considered Foals headline shows.
Admission is free to the Raleigh show. Tickets for the Shaky Knees Festival as well as the Richmond gig are available now. Tickets for the rest of the dates go on sale Jan. 24.
