Long Beach Gets Three

Concerts are alive and well in Long Beach, Calif., where three new venues have opened.

Federal Bar, a repurposed bank, debuted its basement space Jan. 17 with a concert by Dengue Fever.

Meanwhile, record store Fingerprints has relocated, tripling its space with a stage and movable displays to create a large open floor for concerts such as a recent Switchfoot show, according to the Long Beach Post.

Finally, single-screen movie theater Art Theater has jumped into the concert game with an upcoming Fingerprints performance.
